Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Armed Forces, teachers, employees and students of Brest State Technical University!

Today we celebrate the Defenders of the Fatherland and Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Belarus - a holiday that symbolizes fortitude, loyalty to the Motherland and dedication to one's work. This day is especially important for each of us, because it reminds us of the importance of serving the Fatherland, of honor and dignity, which have always been and remain the basis of our lives.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Military Department of BrSTU. Your work, your dedication and professionalism deserve deep respect and gratitude. You are an example of courage and fortitude for future generations, and your contribution to the defense of our country cannot be overestimated.

I would also like to thank the veterans, those who show by their example what a real defender of the Motherland should be. Your exploits and experience serve as an inspiration for young people, helping to cultivate in them a sense of patriotism and pride in their country.

This day also has a special meaning for students and teachers of our university. We strive to cultivate in our students not only professional qualities, but also moral values, such as love for the Motherland, responsibility and readiness to defend its interests. These are the qualities that make a person a true patriot and a worthy citizen of his country.
