On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers, a round table dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan was held at the Brest State Technical University.

Viktor Timofeevich Klyuchevskoy told about his difficult service in Afghanistan for two years, being an employee of military counterintelligence, being in a hard-to-reach mountainous area. It was hard to listen to the story of Lyudmila Mikhailovna Ostrovskaya, who spoke about her son Valery, about his last battle and the feat he accomplished. The guests of the event bequeathed to the students to preserve peace in our country and wished them never to fight in a foreign land.
