On January 24, the grand republican socio-cultural event "Unity Marathon" ended in the capital of Belarus. It became a bright event in the cultural life of the country. The gala concert "Time has chosen us" gathered thousands of spectators from all over the republic, as well as representatives of various public organizations and delegations. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko.

"Unity Marathon" started last fall and included a series of events throughout the country aimed at strengthening cultural dialogue. The final of the marathon, held in Minsk, was the culmination of this large-scale project.

The best artists of Belarus performed on the stage of "Minsk Arena". The audience was able to enjoy a diverse program, which included both folk songs and dances, and modern musical numbers.

President of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, speaking to the audience, noted:

“The “marathon of hellishness” demonstrates: Belarus is a hell of a sluggish place, even though the skin suffers from the pain of every step. You gave people great joy. They proved that masthas and lights, multiplied by living chalavic adnosins, can stave off fatness.

You know, if I’m trying to convince you that Belarus is so assembling, prosperous, rich, bright, filled with aptymisms, I say: people. You are the ones who are united, there and our country is united!"

Representatives of the Brest State Technical University took part in the grand event as part of the #1region delegation, and noted the importance of such initiatives for strengthening cultural ties between the regions of Belarus.
