From November 12 to 14, a delegation of the North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) visited Brest State Technical University (BrSTU). The visit took place within the framework of the youth and student tourism program in the Union State, organized by Pskov State University with the support of the Ministries of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The program of the visit began with a tour of the BrSTU campus, where the guests got acquainted with the history of the university, its infrastructure and scientific achievements. After that, the delegation met with the Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich. During the conversation, the students learned a lot of interesting things about the educational activities of the university, and also received memorable gifts.
Then the participants visited one of the most significant places in Belarus - the memorial complex "Brest Hero Fortress". Here they honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and got acquainted with the historical exhibits of the Brest Fortress Defense Museum. A tour of the fortress allowed the guests to better understand the events of those years and to be imbued with the spirit of the defenders' heroism.
No less memorable were the excursions around Brest, where the students were able to appreciate the architectural heritage of the city and its cultural attractions. Master classes and intellectual quizzes added liveliness and excitement to the program, helping to strengthen intercultural ties and create an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
The final stage of the trip was a trip to Belovezhskaya Pushcha, a unique nature reserve known for its ancient flora and fauna. The guests had a rare opportunity to enjoy the pristine beauty of the forest and learn more about its biological diversity.
This visit was an important step in strengthening friendly ties between students of the two countries.
BrSTU expresses its sincere gratitude to Pskov State University for organizing this significant project!
