On October 31, as part of the Leader's School, a student meeting was held on the topic of "Prevention of bad habits among students".
Invited guest Vladislav Igorevich Pretskailo - narcologist of the Brest Regional Narcological Dispensary. Vladislav Igorevich spoke about the harm and possible consequences of smoking.
"When smoking a vape, heavy metal ions enter the body, this leads to many-sided problems with the lungs: shortness of breath, cough, chest pain, etc." - Vladislav Igorevich noted.
The doctor also noted that the aromatic additives contained in electronic cigarettes mask the smell of nicotine and lead to more frequent smoking, ultimately causing even more harm to health than regular cigarettes.
The conversation about the prevention of bad habits made a great impression on the students. The young people asked questions of interest and actively discussed the consequences of smoking and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
