On September 23, 2024, Brest State Technical University hosted a scientific and technical seminar "Restoration of historical and cultural sites as a means of preserving the heritage of the Republic of Belarus" dedicated to the memory of the architect and local historian Nikolai Nikolaevich Vlasyuk (senior), organized by the Department of Engineering Ecology and Chemistry of BrSTU.

The following delivered a welcoming speech: Vlasyuk Nikolai Nikolaevich - Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Architecture and Construction of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, Head of the Department of Architecture and Territorial Development, Chairman of the Council of Chief Architects of Regions and Cities of Belarus under the Belarusian Union of Architects; Sotnikov Igor Timofeevich - Director of the Brestrestavratsiyaproekt branch of Belrestavratsiya OJSC. The following people attended the seminar and made presentations: Viktor Aleksandrovich Panasyuk, Chief Project Architect of JSC Restavratsiyainvest; Olga Ivanovna Nechiporchik, Chief Project Architect of the Brestrestavratsiyaproekt branch; Elina Arkadyevna Tur, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Chemistry at BrSTU; Sergey Vladimirovich Basov, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Chemistry at BrSTU; Anatoly Antonovich Gladyshchuk, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Physics at BrSTU; Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Bashkov, DSc, Professor of the Department of Slavic Peoples at BrSU named after A.S. Pushkin; BrSTU teachers; BrSU named after A.S. Pushkin teachers.

The participants of the seminar noted that the study, preservation and restoration of immovable objects of historical and cultural heritage are a necessary condition for preventing the process of destruction of national wealth and preserving the spirituality of our people, discussed the positive experience of the Department of the Institute of Economics and Economics in implementing the section "Comprehensive scientific research" of historical buildings included in the list of immovable objects of historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Belarus.

The seminar repeatedly emphasized that the constant implementation of the results of research work of scientists from BrSTU and BrSU named after A.S. Pushkin in design and production allows for the adoption of scientifically sound decisions in the development of design and estimate documentation and the implementation of all types of work on a specific immovable object of historical and cultural heritage, and improves the quality of the development of the section "Comprehensive scientific research".
