80 years of peace! On July 28, 2024, Brest celebrates the anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders and the 1005th anniversary of its foundation.

On this day, we bow our heads in memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our Motherland, we honor all who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and in the underground. The memory of the past war is necessary for current generations. It gives an opportunity to understand the true value of a peaceful and free life. Our duty is to preserve and convey deep respect for the generation of victors and hatred of any manifestations of fascism and attempts to revive it.

During its history, the city was destroyed and changed its state affiliation many times. A special atmosphere and unique historical flavor have been preserved here. And at the same time, the rhythm of the modern city is felt.

Brest does not stand still, it is constantly and dynamically developing. Every day our city becomes more beautiful and comfortable, filled with wisdom and confidently looks to the future.

On this festive day we wish the city administration, employees, veterans, students of BrSTU and all Brest residents good health, prosperity, a peaceful sky above their heads, optimism and success in business for the benefit of our beloved Brest. Let pride in our city become its best decoration, and energy and goodwill charge everyone for new achievements and accomplishments.
