From July 2 to July 12, as part of cooperation with Xinxiang University (People's Republic of China), Brest State Technical University hosted Chinese students under the summer school program “Mechanical Engineering in the Republic of Belarus”.

In this short time, the students were able to expand their knowledge in the field of 3-D modeling and the basics of design in mechanical engineering, visit machine-building enterprises in the Brest region, get acquainted with the national traditions and history of our country, and also try Belarusian cuisine. Of particular interest to the students was their visit to JSC Amkodor (Pinsk), LLC Machine-Building Enterprise COMPO (Brest). In addition, the young people received unforgettable emotions from the competitions organized for them at the karting stadium, as well as horseback riding. They were delighted with the Belarusian nature and the friendliness of our people.

On July 11, the closing ceremony of the summer school took place, during which Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Nikolai Nikolaevich Shalobyta presented the guests from China with certificates of completion of training, certificates of Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining students, as well as memorable gifts from BrSTU. In response, the Chinese students expressed sincere words of gratitude to the organizers of the summer school.
