On June 19, 2024, at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, a ceremonial awarding ceremony for the laureates of the XXX Republican Student Scientific Work Competition took place. This event was timed to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the state administration of the education system of Belarus.

The Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences and the State Committee for Science and Technology were present at the ceremony as guests of honor.

Students and graduates of 53 higher educational institutions, including branches, took part in the competition. 2961 works were submitted to the second stage of the competition. Among the authors of the works were students of all courses and master's degrees.

From the Brest State Technical University, students Margarita Aleksandrovna Rovneiko (Faculty of Economics, 4th year) and Irina Valerievna Sherko (Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, 4th year) received diplomas as competition laureates.

Galina Gennadievna Berezhnaya, a senior lecturer at the Department of World Economy, Marketing and Investment, received a diploma from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. She has made a significant contribution to the development of the creative abilities of talented youth and is the scientific supervisor of the authors of two scientific works of the first category of the XXIX Republican competition of scientific works of students.

In total, 88 works were presented from BrSTU. Of these, 2 works were awarded diplomas as laureates of the XXX Republican competition of scientific works of students. 28 works were classified into the 1st category, 19 into the 2nd category, and 22 into the 3rd category.
