Today, May 30, graduates passed the centralized exam (CE) and centralized testing (CT) in the Belarusian and Russian languages. Brest State University is the largest CE center in the Brest region.

Educational buildings No. 1, 2 and 5 are used for testing.

In total, 1,803 applicants registered to take the CE at BrSTU. Of these, 165 participants chose the Belarusian language. 226 participants are registered to take the CT, 40 of whom are taking the test in the Belarusian language.

For reference: on the first day, the tests of CE and CT at BrSTU were held in physics, mathematics, English, geography and social studies. 1803 applicants were registered to participate in the CE, 1796 took part. 128 participants were registered to participate in the CE, 114 took part.

At the end of the CE and CT, the applicants shared their impressions:

“I started preparing for the CE and CT in advance. I went to all stages of RT, in all subjects. I didn’t see much difference in the Russian and English languages, that is, what was in RT came across in the exams. Only in English I had difficulties with part “B”. In mathematics, I am going to the CT, I heard that the tasks are very different compared to the RT. I want to enter Brest State University, the Faculty of Economics” – Sofia

“I prepared in advance for the CE in mathematics and the Belarusian language, I attended additional classes at school to prepare for the CE. I don’t see much difference between RT and CE; basically the tasks are similar, but in CE you can see 3 or 4 completely new tasks that have not yet been encountered. I have passed only 2 exams so far, the tasks did not cause me any particular difficulties, I think if you prepare, you can get the expected result or even better. I plan to enter BSTU, but if that doesn’t work out I wanted to go to Brest State Technical University.” – Denis

“As for the CE, I took the first social studies course; this is a good subject for logic, for studying the material itself, for the ability to think about everything that is happening. In the subject of social studies, there was an average level of difficulty, it was not difficult, there was no such thing that you sit and think, “Was this in the main rule or the administrative one,” and it wasn’t easy at all either, we touched on topics that need to be studied in depth. I wrote the second CE in Russian, I won’t say that it turned out to be easier than 2023, for which I was preparing, but easier than 2022. It didn’t cause me any major difficulties, but I can say with confidence that the exam will test everyone’s knowledge. I plan to enroll at the Belarusian State University of Culture, majoring in art.” – Taisa

“Initially, I would like to express my gratitude for organizing the CE and CE at your university, everything is clear, planned and organized, the atmosphere is very friendly. I already took the exam in biology, I came across option 3, it is very similar to the RC and the 3rd stage of the RT. It’s good that we have rehearsal tests and exams in our country; this really helps to repeat the material and get ready for the exam itself. I liked the exam in biology, I prepared for it responsibly, the tasks were the same as in the basic level program, the exam did not cause any particular difficulties for me. Today we wrote the CE in the Russian language, the tasks are similar to the 3rd stage of the RT and the RC. The tasks were not difficult, you just had to sit down to think about everything and write. I also approached the Russian exam responsibly, teachers helped me, I attended additional classes and electives. I plan to enter a medical university, everything will depend on the results, either Grodno or Minsk” - Vera
