On May 15-17, 2024, the city of Brest hosted the 2023/2024 Republican Universiade in Athletics, during which students from higher educational institutions of our country competed for awards in the individual championship, and also competed for points for their teams. The competition took place at the Brest Sports Complex, and the hammer throwers traditionally met in the sector on the rowing canal.
In the Universiade program, student-athletes of Brest State Technical University took part in the following disciplines: running 100, 200, 1500, 3000, 5000 meters with obstacles and shot put.
Congratulations to the student of the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology of BrSTU Rusak Ekaterina with 1st place in the 3000 m steeplechase.
