On April 15, 2024, the section (subsection I) “Aesthetic and educational potential of Belarusian culture and literature” was held (chairman - candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Samuylik Yaroslav Grigorovich, secretary - associate professor Larisa Nikolaevna Gritsuk).
A total of 12 reports were read at the conference, which covered the following topics:
- enlighteners of Belarus (Artsemiy Kazbyarovich “Kiryll Turausky - the famous son of the Belarusian land”, Anna Sidaruk “Heavenly patroness of the Belarusian land Euphrasinya of Polotsk”, Getzman Renat “Francysk Skaryna - printing pioneer, educator, humanist”);
- figures of the Belarusian-Polish folklore and literary borderland of the 19th century (Hanna Yakushevich “Jan Chachot - romantic poet, philologist, folklorist”);
- the founders of the new Belarusian literature and the new Belarusian literary language (Anna Hinets, “Don’t leave our Belarusian language so that it doesn’t die!”: the life and creative path of Frantishak Bagushevich, Anastasia Razuvanova, “The role of Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich in the formation of national culture”);
- life and work of Belarusian writers (Valeria Shulgina “It all starts with love...”: the life and creative path of Yauhenia Yanishchyts”, Andrei Kulik, Oleg Shlyazhko “Sergei Grakhovsky: famous and unknown”, Konan Alina “The love theme in Yauhenia Yanishchyts` poetry”, Sofya Davydovskaya “The nature theme in the lyrics of Yauhenia Yanishchyts”);
- special vocabulary (Daria Khaldyuk “From the history of Belarusian scientific terminology”);
- statesmen and military figures of the era of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Alyaksey Smal “Nikalai Radzivil Chorny - statesman and philanthropist”).
In general, the work of the section took place at a high scientific, theoretical and methodological level.
