On April 2, 2024, an informational meeting between representatives of law enforcement agencies and foreign students studying at BrSTU took place. Among the guests of the university was the Deputy Head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, Vadim Vasilyevich Rovensky, who familiarized the students present with the requirements for registration of temporary stay and residence on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, registration of exit and entry visas, which was especially important for foreign citizens, who arrived in the Republic of Belarus for the first time this year.
Senior inspector of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs, police captain Ekaterina Vyacheslavovna Volosyuk presented to those present a memo on the rules for the stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Belarus.
The specifics of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on the State Border, the consequences of violating the regime of stay in the border zone and attempts to illegally cross the state border were introduced by the representative of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Mushta.
To ensure that the information of the university guests was understandable to all students, simultaneous translation of the speeches into English, Chinese and Arabic was organized.
It should be noted that BrSTU has close contacts with the citizenship and migration authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. So, last week, foreign students could receive advice on issues of official employment in our country from the deputy head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration V.V. Rovensky.
