Dear students, teachers, employees, veterans and graduates! Happy birthday to Brest State Technical University!

The history of the university began on May 9, 1963, when the Decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR decided to organize the Brest Institute of Civil Engineering in the Belarusian SSR. On April 1, 1966, the Brest Civil Engineering Institute was opened.

In each period - from BISI to BrSTU - the university made a significant contribution to the development of our region and the entire country. And today Brest State Technical University has a high reputation, a guarantee of the reliability of the knowledge acquired, and the demand for specialists in the labor market.

On this significant day for us, I want to thank everyone for their daily hard work, love for their chosen profession and university, for the desire not to stop there, constant search and innovative approaches to work. This is what helps to continue the educational process at a high level, to train, guide and educate our youth.

Words of special gratitude to our veterans and graduates - all those who, at various stages of the formation of the university, contributed to its development, wrote glorious pages of history and laid down traditions that are preserved and continued by the current generation.

On this holiday, I wish you health, enthusiasm, inspiration, the implementation of all your plans, peace and prosperity, and our Brest Technical Institute - new achievements, stability and prosperity!
