On April 11, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the work collective was held in the assembly hall of the main building of Brest State University, dedicated to the 59th anniversary of the foundation of the university.

The meeting was opened by the Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich, who emphasized the importance of the contribution of each employee to the development and prosperity of the university. The Rector thanked all the employees for their hard work, professionalism and dedication to their work.

Sergey Antonovich noted: "Today we continue our young, but already established tradition - to annually celebrate the birthday of our university. A year is a serious period when we achieve new results, see more, become better, more successful, implement innovations, and now in our 59th year of birth, the 60th is very soon. Our 59th year has been marked by significant successes, especially in light of the preparations for an important national holiday - the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. I congratulate everyone on the upcoming holidays and wish each of you personal happiness, health and family well-being. May your rear be reliably protected, and your thoughts be occupied only with creativity, development and new discoveries. Together we will create a future full of peace and joy. Happy holiday!"

The most important moment of the event was the ceremony of awarding the most distinguished employees of BrSTU with certificates of honor. Among them: Natalia Vasilievna Pstyga, accountant, Tatyana Leontyevna Maslovskaya, leading specialist in accounting and booking of conscripts, Valentina Mikhailovna Omelko, leading specialist in personnel of the personnel department, Svetlana Anatolyevna Matyukh, senior lecturer of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation, Elina Arkadyevna Tur, associate professor of the Department of Engineering Ecology and Chemistry. These awards became a well-deserved recognition of their contribution to the development of the university.

 

 The event also paid special attention to the university veterans. They were thanked for many years of work and dedication, noting their enormous contribution to the formation and development of the educational institution. The hall burst into applause, expressing respect and recognition of the work.

The ceremony of presenting certificates and gratitude was continued by Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Nikolay Nikolaevich Shalobyta, Vice-Rector for Research, and Andrey Antonovich Bosko, Vice-Rector for Security, Regime, and Personnel. Here, those who actively participated in the public life of the university and demonstrated high performance in their professional activities were honored. Certificates and letters of gratitude were received by: Natalia Vladimirovna Lyubchuk, specialist in the organization of the educational process of the dean's office of the mechanical engineering faculty, Elena Nikolaevna Pukita, specialist in the organization of the educational process of the dean's office of the architecture and construction faculty, Svetlana Stepanovna Karpuk, leading specialist in supporting the educational process of the department of economics and organization of construction, Liliya Mikhailovna Fedosenko, specialist in the organization of the educational process of the dean's office of the economic faculty, Galina Petrovna Olesiyuk, clerk of the department of accounting, analysis and audit, Natalia Nikolaevna Yaromich, 1st category methodologist of the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining, Oleg Valerievich Karpovich, 2nd category methodologist of the department of ideological and educational work, Inessa Viktorovna Volskaya, accountant of the 1st category, Valentina Mikhailovna Mironchuk, 2nd category watchman of the educational and laboratory building No. 5, Alla Evgenyevna Chenchevik, cleaner of premises 1st category of the academic building No. 2, Nina Vasilyevna Krispinovich, 2nd category cloakroom attendant of the main building, Oksana Vladimirovna Vorozhko, specialist in the organization of the educational process of the dean's office of the faculty of electronic information systems, Anna Sergeevna Zhivula, specialist of the center for media communications and publishing activities.

 

The official part of the event was concluded by the speech of the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work of BrSTU Natalia Petrovna Yalova and the Secretary of the Primary Organization of the BRSM Public Organization Bogdan Darchic. They thanked the teachers and staff for their support and mentoring, noting the important role of young people in the life of the university and urging students to actively participate in its development. Natalia Petrovna expressed deep gratitude to the students for their active participation in the life of the university and emphasized their important role in its development. She noted that young people are the future of the university and urged students to continue to actively participate in various initiatives and projects.

Particular attention was paid to students who have distinguished themselves in their studies, science and social activities. The best students of BrSTU were awarded certificates for excellent academic performance, scientific achievements and active participation in the life of the university.

Students Darya Dyubkina, Denis Okhrimuk, Elizaveta Maksimchuk, Anna Lupina and Dmitry Tsyabuk also received gratitude for their personal contribution to the implementation of projects and programs of the primary organization of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union". Anastasia Sverba was awarded gratitude from the Brest Regional Committee of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" for fruitful work, professionalism and active participation in socio-political activities.

A special atmosphere of the holiday was given by the cultural program prepared by the creative teams of the university. The audience enjoyed musical numbers, dances and theatrical performances demonstrating the talent and creativity of students and teachers of BrSTU.

The final chord of the meeting was the university anthem performed by the vocal group "Sensation".
