On December 13, a seminar for 1st-year trade union organizers on the topic "Trade Union. History. Role. Structure" was held at Brest State Technical University. The invited guests were Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Trade Union Association Roman Valentinovich Chul and Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers Alexandra Alexandrovna Drapey.

Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work at BrSTU Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya spoke about the role of the Trade Union in the life of the university. The Chairperson of the primary trade union organization of students Tatyana Strelkova informed the trade union activists about the main areas of activity of the primary organization, about the place of the organization in the structure of the FPB. Particular attention was paid to information work. Trade union leader - Alexandra Aleksandrovna Drapey informed the students about the formation of the trade union movement in Belarus, the history and development of the industry Trade Union, the modern structure of the Brest regional organization of the Trade Union, statistical data and the main areas of activity of the Trade Union.

Roman Valentinovich conducted an open dialogue with the students in a warm and welcoming manner. The deputy chairman of the Brest regional association of trade unions spoke about the republican trade union actions, the importance of interaction between youth public organizations within the university and the role of the trade union group organizer in the trade union cell.

The event was attended by representatives of 37 first-year academic groups of five faculties of BrSTU and the trade union activists. Each first-year student received a trade union card and a gift. Three laureates of the payment of the Brest regional organization of the Trade Union, students from among the trade union activists, were awarded certificates. Following the event, a test was conducted on the topic "Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers: History and Modernity". The winner and prize-winners received souvenirs. The final moment of the meeting was the republican flash mob "Under the Flag of the Country".
