On December 12, Brest State Technical University hosted a meeting of employees and students with Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Rakot, an epidemiologist from the Brest Zonal Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene.

In anticipation of the seasonal increase in influenza cases, the epidemiologist paid special attention to the importance of prevention and protection from this dangerous disease. He spoke about the different types of influenza, their characteristics and the degree of danger to health, as well as the measures that must be taken to avoid infection. In addition, he shared recommendations on what to do if you do get sick and how to protect your loved ones from the flu.

During the conversation, the main aspects of vaccination were revealed: what it is, how the procedure is carried out, what are the requirements for it, as well as indications and contraindications for its implementation.
