Rector of Brest State Technical University Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich took part in the Forum of Rectors of Russia, Belarus and Brazil, which was held for the first time at Lomonosov Moscow State University. This event was an important step towards strengthening international cooperation between universities of the three countries.

The main goal of the forum was to discuss cooperation between educational institutions. Participants considered the possibilities of interaction in the educational and cultural spheres.

A number of documents were signed within the framework of the forum, among which a special place is occupied by the creation of the League of Universities of Russia, Belarus and Brazil. This initiative is aimed at strengthening ties between universities of the three countries.

According to the memorandum, the League will be a non-profit, informal and voluntary association of academic and scientific institutions. Within the framework of the League, it is planned to hold meetings and conferences of rectors both in person and online. Initially, the League will work in 12 thematic groups covering various areas: exact sciences, ecology, language, culture, literature and much more.

The forum became a significant event that confirmed the readiness of leading universities in Russia, Belarus and Brazil for close cooperation and the desire for unity.
