On September 24, the opening ceremony of the XIII Forum of Engineering and Technological Universities of the Union State was held at the R.E. Alekseev Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University. The forum brought together leading specialists and young scientists from various universities in Belarus and Russia to discuss current issues and prospects for the development of engineering education in the context of modern technological challenges.

Forum participants discuss ways to integrate scientific research and the educational process, as well as issues of improving the quality of training for high-tech sectors of the economy. Particular attention is paid to innovative approaches in teaching and the development of interdisciplinary interaction between various scientific fields.

One of the key topics of the forum is the digital transformation of engineering activities and the introduction of advanced technologies in the learning process. Experts share their experience in implementing virtual laboratories, distance learning and the use of artificial intelligence in education.

Representatives of Brest State Technical University are actively participating in the forum: Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mikhail Vladimirovich Neroda and Head of the Research Department Nikolay Nikolaevich Sheshko, who presented the achievements of BrSTU in the field of engineering and information technology within the framework of two sections of the forum: "Priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities of universities of the Union State" and "Development of engineering education in the Union State".

The participation of BrSTU representatives in the XIII Forum of Universities of Engineering and Technology Profile of the Union State confirmed the leading positions of the university in the field of engineering education and science, and also allowed to strengthen ties with partners and expand international cooperation.

The forum will end on September 27 with a ceremonial awarding of the winners and the signing of the resolution.
