On August 29, 2024, the baton of the II Republican Forum of Working Youth was taken up by Brest State Technical University.
Eighty best representatives of labor collectives of various institutions and organizations of the country took part in the seminar "Organization of work with youth at enterprises and in organizations", where topical issues of organizing work with working youth were discussed.
Before the event, the guests got acquainted with the activities of BrSTU. There was also a presentation exhibition dedicated to the implementation of state youth policy at enterprises and organizations of the city of Brest.
Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Petrutskaya and Deputy Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee Vitaly Konstantinovich Shcherba addressed the guests of the forum with a welcoming speech.
"The main task is to activate, motivate and involve young people in the socio-political life of the country. In particular, to realize the potential of young people in those areas and in those opportunities that they have today and that are provided to them," said Deputy Minister of Education Ekaterina Petrutskaya.
During the seminar, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) and the Republican Council of Working Youth. The agreement provides for cooperation and interaction in organizing and conducting civil-patriotic, cultural, educational and educational work with working youth. The parties will also interact in the framework of joint youth projects aimed at forming an active life position of young people, developing domestic and foreign tourism, supporting youth initiatives, a conscious attitude to public duty and preventing antisocial phenomena among young people.
After the seminar, an interesting sports program with a friendly football match at the university stadium awaited the forum participants. The second day of the forum will end with a festive disco organized for the guests of the event by the primary organization of the BRSM public organization of the university.
