Roadmap for the development of cooperation between BrSTU and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus signed

On August 23, a ceremony of signing roadmaps for the development of cooperation between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources for 2024-2026 was held in Minsk

Nine universities took part in the signing of the documents, including BrSTU, which was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mikhail Vladimirovich Neroda.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergei Mikhailovich Maslyak noted that the signing of the roadmaps is a logical development of the agreement that the environmental agency signed the day before with the Ministry of Education.

Cooperation within the framework of the signed documents is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of interaction on improving the training of specialists in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, as well as improving their qualifications.

The document defines promising areas of interaction between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and universities, including educational and scientific lines.

Promising areas include academic mobility of students and postgraduates, organization of internships, educational, pre-graduation practices for students on the basis of organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Natural Resources, holding lectures, seminars, practical classes, mutual participation in significant events, etc.
