On August 4, the final practice of students studying at the Military Department under the reserve officer training programs was completed. More than 100 young men spent a month improving their practical skills at the military unit, which they acquired during their studies at the department. Future officers successfully passed the final exam, showing high results to the commission. The students' training ended with the Military Oath, which the future defenders took on the parade ground.

The Rector of the university Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich and the Head of the Military Department Alexey Vyacheslavovich Isakov addressed the students with sincere congratulations and parting words. The parents, close relatives and friends of the future officers were also present at the solemn ceremony of taking the Military Oath. The final practice is conducted for the purposes of practical training in military units, improving the command and methodological skills acquired by students during the development of a military registration specialty, performing shooting exercises, driving vehicles and other tasks. Ahead of the future officers is a busy year of study at the university, defending a diploma, and then receiving the first officer rank of "reserve lieutenant".
