The Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus is a public holiday in our country, which is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko No. 157 dated March 26, 1998. “On public holidays, feriation and memorable dates in the Republic of Belarus.” On April 12, 2023, a new Decree No. 105 was signed, which made adjustments to Decree No. 157 of March 26, 1998.
The new name allows us to pay tribute to all three state symbols of Belarus.
The State Flag, the State Emblem and the State Anthem embody the history of the formation and development of sovereign Belarus, reflect the historical, spiritual and moral traits of the nation, and demonstrate our national identity.
