On May 7, 2024, a meeting was held at the Brest State Technical University with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Igor Vasilyevich Karpenko. The event was opened by the Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich, and the deputy chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Vadim Vasilyevich Kravchuk was also present at the meeting.

In his speech, Igor Vasilyevich emphasized the importance of maintaining the country’s stable position in the international arena, as well as the development and modernization of manufacturing enterprises. He also noted the achievements of Brest State Technical University in the scientific and educational fields.

“Creating and destroying are two different things. It’s easy to refuse, destroy, break off relationships, but to create, modernize, and learn new things is much more difficult,” said the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, addressing the students.

The second part of the meeting was held in the format of dialogue. Students were interested in various aspects of the work of the Chairman of the CEC, his life path and principles, issues related to the organization and conduct of elections. Igor Vasilyevich gave detailed answers to all questions.
