In connection with the celebration of the 214th anniversary of the independence declaration of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, representatives of the Embassy of Venezuela and the Simon Bolivar Latin American Cultural Center organized a concert with the participation of Belarusian schoolchildren and students who presented folk dance and vocal performances. Venezuelan students studying at Belarusian universities were invited to the concert. Among them are Erika Esmeralda Monsalve Gabazutt, a student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of BrSTU, as well as a leading specialist of the International Department of the university, Yulia Dragun.
The festive event was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus Franklin Ramirez Araque, who emphasized the importance of strengthening intercultural friendly ties between our peoples. Thanks to national costumes and colorful performances, everyone present at the event was able to plunge into the friendly atmosphere of Latin American culture.
