On April 9, a seminar for trade union activists was held at the Brest State Technical University, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in Belarus.
The lecturer, Deputy Chairman of the Brest regional organization of the Trade Union, Alexandra Aleksandrovna Drapei, gave an informative, meaningful, educational speech. The dialogue touched on the history of the trade union movement in Belarus, the history of the creation and promotion of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, the role of the most massive public organization in the life and activities of every citizen. The focus is on the working man.
Students took notes with interest on the main points of the speech: dates, names, numbers. The main regulatory documents of the trade union organization, fragmentation and strengthening of the Trade Union, social partnership, structure, leaders of the trade union movement - this and much more the university students learned from the lecture. The report reflected the modernity of the trade union movement, as well as events held in the industry for the 100th anniversary of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers.
Following the seminar, a quiz was held for all participants on the Kahoot platform on the topic of the meeting. The winner and runners-up were awarded image products with symbols of the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in Belarus. Alexandra Alexandrovna also presented letters of gratitude from the regional organization to the participants of the regional patriotic project competition “We Keep Victory in Memory.”
