On April 2, as part of the celebration of the 58th anniversary of BrSTU, the winner of the X Olympiad in programming for schoolchildren was awarded.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the winner was Valery Efremenko, a student of the State Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 4 of Baranovichi.” The Rector of the university, Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, congratulated Valery, wished him further success and presented him with a valuable gift.
During the meeting, Sergei Antonovich told Valery about various aspects of university life, the wide range of educational programs offered by the university, the active participation of students in research work in the IT field and partnerships with leading companies and organizations of the Brest region specialists in this area.
Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems Andrei Nikolaevich Parfievich spoke about the features of training highly qualified personnel at the faculty for the rapidly developing information and electronic industries in the western region of the Republic of Belarus, and also introduced the functioning industry and scientific and technical laboratories, where Valery was able to see himself the practical results of scientific activities of students and teachers of the faculty.
