On March 23, a Welcome Day was held at Brest State Technical University. The event was organized as part of the nationwide campaign of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus “I choose a profession.” A distinctive feature of this day was the participation of personnel contracting organizations.
The event was attended by OJSC "Construction Trust No. 8", OJSC "Savushkin Product", KUP "Brestzhilstroy", OJSC "Polesiezhilstroy", RUE "Brestavtodor", OJSC "Kuzlitmash", LLC "Machine-building enterprise "KOMPO", PRUE "Brestoblgaz", OJSC "Tsvetotron", Brest Customs. Personnel customers were able to directly tell applicants all the opportunities and advantages of working at the enterprises. Applicants, in turn, received a unique opportunity to meet potential employers, learn about the requirements of the labor market, and better understand the specifics of their future profession.
At the faculties’ demonstration sites, students and their parents had the opportunity to personally communicate with the deans of the faculties, get acquainted with scientific and technical developments, and take part in master classes and thematic quizzes.
At the meeting organized in the assembly hall, the event participants received detailed information about the entrance campaign, new specialties, targeted admission and other special conditions for admission.
