BrSTU at the XXХI Minsk International Book Fair
On March 14-17, Brest State Technical University took part in the XXI Minsk International Book Fair.
The exhibition-fair was opened by the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maxim Vladimirovich Ryzhenkov. He announced the greetings of the President of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko to the guests and participants of the international book exhibition-fair.
The main topics of book exhibitions, discussion and presentation platforms this year were: the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders; 30 years since the first elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus; 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus; Year of quality in the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition brought together more than 500 participants at 114 venues from 20 countries, including China, Germany, Brazil, Venezuela, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Egypt.
Brest State Technical University was represented at the exhibition by library director Yulia Vyacheslavovna Azarkevich and leading librarian Svetlana Aleksandrovna Chusovlyankina.
At the exhibition stand “BrSTU remembers, BrSTU is proud” the works of teachers were presented, as well as projects dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, implemented at BrSTU:
- Republican youth patriotic forum “Citadel of Memory”;
- Board game-strategy ““The ABC of my country” (and the 80-year-old hell of the German-fascist buryings caused by Belarus)”;
- Information resource “BrSTU employees are veterans of the Great Patriotic War.”
During their participation in the exhibition, representatives of BrSTU attended various master classes, presentations, discussions, and also got acquainted with the latest products in the book market.
BrSTU was awarded a diploma for active participation and interesting exposition.
